Pay As You Go Subscription - Microsoft Azure

Recently I purchased a fresh Pay As you Go Subscription for Microsoft Azure thinking that it will come with 12 months of certain free services as advertised by Microsoft however soon I discovered that it is applicable only if you upgrade from the existing free trial subscription and not on new subscription.  However Microsoft customer support was generous enough to waive off the charges.
A important note for all those who are planning to purchase new Azure subscription from Microsoft!
